Structural Drawings

The simplest structural alterations can normally be covered with an A4 sketch, however larger projects sensibly require structural drawings to show all the structural elements and perhaps more importantly, their correct locations, relative levels and how the elements connect together.

Structural Engineer’s drawings normally accompany your Architect’s drawings to provide a fully detailed application to enable Building Regulations Approval to be granted.

We use AutoCAD drawing software, which is updated on a regular basis and ensures that our drawings are compatible and able to be shared with fellow professionals such as Architects and Surveyors. Drawings prepared in AutoCAD are easily sent by e-mail to reduce waiting time and can be used in electronic submissions to Building Control.

Where drawings are required to be printed for site use, we have a colour plotter enabling drawings to be printed in house up to A1 size. For large issues, we use a local print shop, Chiltern Image Service.
